About us
The Surrey Greenspace Project (SGP) started in January 2009 and achieving great things! The £800,000 project is mainly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund with Surrey Wildlife Trust, Guildford Borough Council, Woking Borough Council and Reigate and Banstead Borough Council also kindly contributing. The main aim of the project is to encourage the communities of Surrey who don’t traditionally use their local greenspaces to access them more regularly by providing events and activities for all the target greenspaces in Woking, Merstham and Guildford.
